What are "RCI Points Partners"?

One of the popular features of RCI Points, the modern vacation timeshare, is
the fact that the points can be spent for travel alternatives other than accommodations.

The companies which provide those services are termed by RCI as RCI Points Partners.

RCI Points owners receive a Partners Program Catalog showing the various RCI Points Partners.

For airlines the present RCI Points partners are American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta, and US Airways. As an example, within the 48 states and Canada, an economy flight roundtrip coach ticket is 35,000 to $42,000 RCI points.

For U.S. accommodations the present RCI Points partners brands are Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Knights Inn, Radisson, Ramada, Super 8, Villager Lodge, Wingate Inn. The nightly point values vary greatly depending upon the city, ranging from a low starting at 6,100 points per night in Las Vegas, to a high starting at 11,300 points per night in Hawaii.

For car rentals, the RCI Points partners are Avis and Budget. The daily fee for a compact car runs from a low of 4,500 points in Florida, to a high of 8,000 points in the east (excluding Florida).

For cruises, the present RCI Points partners are Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, Norwegian, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Captain Cook Cruises. Cruise itineraries are offered for 50,000 to 70,000 Points plus a cash amount., There is informatin about cruises in the RCI Directory which RCI calls the RCI Community Guide.

RCI Points can also be utilized for various amusement parks, including Universal Studios and Disney World.
