RCI Points : RCI Points eliminates a major mystery
I don't think there is a timeshare owner on earth who hasn't wondered what formula RCI uses to determine which deposited weeks have the most "trade power". It is a secret that only the RCI programmers know.
And not having to worry about learning or understanding that secret is to me one of the main advantages of owning RCI Points.
As an RCI Points owner, you can count on the fact that when you request a reservation anywhere in the world, you have the most "power" you could possibly have in requesting that reservation.
There is no asking, well, what if the color of the week or the date of the week isn't "powerful" enough. What if the location isn't good enough. And on and on.
It just doesn't matter anymore if you are an RCI Points owner.
And you for sure will only get one week of trade from your traditional one week timeshare. Not necessarily true with RCI Points, because if you learn to manipulate your points ownership, you can well get more than one week's use out of that hard earned payment of annual maintenance fee.
