RCI Points : Cendant and UNLV to offer courses in timeshare.

Having been in the vacation timeshare industry since 1981, we find this announcement most interesting.

One of the most interesting announcements we have ever seen has just been published in the Las Vegas Sun.

Interesting to me because I have seen the industry evolve from the days that the world thought of timeshare as something like a back door pool hall, to what it has become today with the largest name brand hotel developers in the world embracing the concept, and in fact, relying upon it as a significant portion of their income.

RCI Points : Renting RCI Points To Supplement Enough For A Particular Trip

Renting Points:



RCI Points members can rent additional points to complete a reservation. Point rentals are currently $.02 per point.

Members may currently rent up to 50% of their current Use Year point allotment to complete a reservation.

Rented RCI Points may only be used in the current Use Year and cannot be saved or transferred.

Rental of RCI Points is on a first-come, first-served basis, if available.

Rented Points must be used in the year rented and do not establish or provide for any recurring use.

RCI Points :: Cendant, owner of timeshare exchange RCI, announces increase in revenue

Revenue from RCI, Cendant's timeshare exchange business, increased 7%, reflecting a 6% increase in exchange and subscription fee revenue and a 19% increase in other departments.
